I recently stayed at Freedom Hostel for a few nights with my partner, and we absolutely enjoyed our time there. The location couldn't have been more convenient, as we arrived by bus and the stop was right in front of the hostel. The cleanliness of our double room with ensuite was impeccable, and we appreciated the toiletries provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us a late checkout without any hassle. it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it for future visits.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The rooms were spacious, bright, and very clean, and the private bathroom was a great bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with plenty of parking and walking distance to restaurants. We even had Netflix in our room! great value for the money and a really relaxed vibe.
As for breakfast offerings, it would have been nice to have a wider variety of choices.

I had a great time staying at Freedom Hostel. Despite some minor issues, my overall experience was positive. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all the local attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially an Australian girl with brown hair and tattoos who went above and beyond to assist me. The room I stayed in was comfortable, with a nice balcony where I could relax. The chill-out area with sofas was a nice touch, and it provided a great space to unwind. The cheap beers at the bar were also a bonus. I would recommend this hostel as a budget-friendly option.
While my stay at Freedom Hostel had many positives, there were a couple of drawbacks. The shared kitchen was quite messy and not well-maintained, making it difficult to cook meals on-site.

The location of the hostel was really convenient. It was within walking distance to the town and had ample parking space. Another great thing about the hostel was the choice of two pools on the complex. It was nice to have options for where to relax and cool off. The room itself was also reasonably large, providing enough space to move around comfortably.
One downside of the room was that it felt quite hot when the balcony door and room door were closed. I had to keep the balcony door open throughout the night, but that meant dealing with noise from outside until midnight.

The ensuite had water on the floor for 3 days, possibly due to a leaking cistern. Only 1 chair in the room for 2 people. No free-to-air TV, and no place for toiletries except on a wet floor. The water took 12 minutes to warm up. Difficult for an 81 y.o. with a wheelie walker to climb the steps. Reception was late in opening and no receipt given on arrival.
